When our friends at Phoenix Animal Rescue told us that their scale broke, Philadoptables knew we had to help!
Phoenix Animal Rescue has saved so many animals from the city shelter this year. The scale is very important to their lifesaving work as having an accurate weight on an animal is critical to making sure they receive the proper dosage of medication.

Is your pooch ready to play? Get ready for a bracket-style competition for the Cutest Canine!
There are 16 spots available at a $99 entry fee that will allow your pooch to compete for exciting prizes while benefiting Philadoptables. Each entrant will set up a doggy portrait photoshoot with Meghan Renee Photography. Schedule your session anytime now between February 25 (in Philadelphia or West Chester). Each week in March, doggy contestants will be matched up with another pooch to be voted the Ultim-Mutt Cutie! Winners of the Final Four will receive gifts from local pet-friendly business, with special prizes for the Champion!
All entrants will receive a goody bag of fun items and a gorgeous 5×7 metal print of their favorite photo, and there is an opportunity to create more stunning artwork for your home if you wish!

Since we are not able to hold our annual Love Potions fundraising event in-person, we are having an online raffle! We have over 20 awesome prizes and all proceeds will go towards our year-round animal life saving activity. Fill out our online form to select the number of tickets you want to purchase and designate how many tickets you want to put in each virtual bucket. We will pull the winners for each prize live on Saturday, February 13th at 6:30pm. We decided to close out 2020 by donating to 12 local animal welfare charities that help Philadelphia’s homeless animals – for a total of $6,000! We hope that this small gesture will kickstart the year for these amazing organizations who rely on the generosity of their donors to continue their lifesaving work. Together these organizations saved hundreds of animals this year as well as helping community cats and owned pets! It was so very exciting for us to be able to give back and we could not have done it without you.
