Get Ready for Love Potions 2018!

Philadoptables’ 7th annual LOVE POTIONS Happy Hour is coming up! Join us on Saturday, February 10th at McFadden’s Saloon Ballpark for a night of fun with friends and awesome raffles. Marilyn Russell of WOGL 98.1 will be hosting with music by Beg, Borrow & Steel. All proceeds go to help Philly’s homeless animals.

This very special event will help Philadoptables to continue purchasing much needed supplies for the homeless animals of Philadelphia’s animal control shelter.

Pet Valu Supports Philadelphia’s Homeless Animals in 2017


YES. It is a word we want to hear but often do not.

In the time Philadoptables has worked with the team at Pet Valu we have heard YES many many times over. This dedicated company is full of animal lovers and all they want to do is offer the best products at the best prices and help the animals in need. The store staff – all awesome – so knowledgeable and community oriented. The corp. folks are generous and kind. Pet Valu supports Philadoptables in many ways and in turn allows us to help thousands of hungry animals in need. This year once again, Pet Valu stepped up during our Camp Out for Hunger pet food drive with The Preston & Steve Show on 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia.

This year’s donation of 150,000 lbs of pet food and supplies is a record breaker and in a time where the need is also a record high, we say THANK YOU for your support, Pet Valu!

Thank You for Another Great Year at Camp Out for Hunger!

The 2017 Camp Out for Hunger was a huge success! Philadoptables would like to make a point to thank WMMR, The Preston and Steve Show, Pet Valu, all of the businesses and individuals that contributed pet food donations, and of course all of the volunteers that made this possible.

Just as there are homeless people in need, there are also many homeless animals in our area that go without. All of the donations that we have collected will help stock up the pet food pantry, feed and help animals at ACCT Philly, as well as animals that are in foster care through our local rescue partners. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Philadoptables Supplies New Microscopes for ACCT Philly Clinic

Turns out the microscope we bought in 2011 for ACCT Philly was in need of new lenses and we placed the order for the replacements. We also purchased a brand new scope so that all things gooey and crusty could be looked at. Thanks to the clinic staff for taking good care of the homeless babies!

Camp Out for Hunger 2016

camp-out-flyerWe are ready to get down to the business of feeding hungry pets in need. This year let’s think BUILDING COMMUNITY!

The food drive is about people helping people and we need every one of you to make this year a success! We are looking to find companies, schools, businesses, neighborhoods, scout groups, etc to run pet food drives of their own during October or November.

We can provide a letter about the food drive and our Treasury certificate showing Philadoptables non-profit status to get the ball rolling. We can also help with posters and transportation of the donated items! Please reach out to your contacts in the community and let’s identify some locations!
