About the Calendar

Hunks for Hounds blends charm, charity, and community spirit, showcasing handsome local men with adoptable dogs and cats to promote pet adoption. Each $25 calendar supports Philadoptables’ mission to provide medical funding, food, and shelter resources to animals in need throughout the Greater Philadelphia metro area.

During the FOX 29 segment, kittens are available through PURR and three adorable pups — from Lucky Dawg Rescue — stole the spotlight, reminding every one of the ultimate goal: helping animals find forever homes.

The calendar also features inspiring local heroes like Stephen, an actor and flight attendant; Dr. Garcia, an emergency veterinarian; and Cameron, a finance professional and dog dad — all lending their time and heart to the cause.

Mark your calendars — both literally and figuratively! The much-anticipated 2026 Hunks for Hounds Calendar is officially dropping, and we’re kicking it off in style with a special launch party on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Bistro on Bridge in Phoenixville, PA.

This year’s calendar is packed with heart-stealing smiles, four-legged friends, and a whole lot of love. Each month features our hand-picked “hunks” alongside adorable pets, celebrating the joy of compassion and the bond between humans and animals. Every pet in the calendar has a rescue story — they’re either beloved adopted companions or adorable animals currently waiting for their forever homes.

2026 Hunks for Hounds Charity Calendar Casting is Now Open! 

Calling all animal-loving HUNKS! Philadoptables wants YOU to be part of our 2026 Hunks for Hounds charity calendar! Pose for a great cause and help animals in need in the Philly metro area! No experience required—just a big heart for rescued animals.   

Nominate yourself, another person, sports team, or group. 100% of the proceeds from calendar sales will go toward helping animals in need in the Philly area! (if you are submitting for another person, please include your name and contact information as well)

Submission deadline: Saturday, April 19th (photo shoot is in June).  Selected Hunks will pose with their rescued pet. Don’t have a rescued pet? That’s okay – we will provide one for you!
