On Saturday night September 6th a group of animal loving friends got together to Paint for Paws. Mine by Design in Jenkintown graciously held a fundraiser for Philadoptables in which participants could paint their own pottery. Many choose between a dog/cat food bowl, traditional and bone shaped, as well as a vase or coffee mug. With snacks and beverages in hand, the creative juices began flowing.
Some choose to paint the names of their animals on the bowl, some used their creativity to paint flowers and trees, and one animal lover even took advantage of the opportunity to honor all the pen pals she has had during her time at the shelter. We loved seeing all the unique ideas come to light and couldn’t wait to see the finished products!
It was a great night that brought together animal lovers from near and far. We saw some familiar faces and made lots of new friends. It was a perfect, laid back event and fun was had by all! Special thank you to Laura and the girls at Mine by Design. We can’t wait to come back!
