- Assistance for low-income pet owners
- Support for community cat programs through spay/neuter initiatives
Our goal is simple: to keep animals safe, healthy, and homebound.

“There are thousands of animals in need in the Philadelphia area, whether they are in shelters, the streets, or homes, and we depend on our community’s generosity to support our efforts to help them,” said Michelle Helms, founder and president of Philadoptables. “We are incredibly grateful to receive this award and can’t wait to use the funds to help even more animals in the region.”
We’re honored to be recognized as the 2025 Dogs’ Best Friend — and we couldn’t have done it without you.
