Meet Zane, a playful pup with a big heart and an even bigger appetite for… well, just about anything! Unfortunately, this curious boy got himself into a bit of trouble after swallowing a toy, which left him feeling very sick and in need of emergency care.
Zane’s dad quickly rushed him to The Bridge Clinic, where the veterinary team discovered he needed surgery to remove the toy. Like many loving families, covering the cost of an unexpected surgery was difficult — but their commitment to Zane never wavered.
That’s when our incredible friends at The Bridge Clinic reached out to Philadoptables for help — and of course, we said YES!
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and our ongoing partnership with TBC, Zane received the surgery he needed and recovered like a champ. We’re thrilled to share that he was able to go home the same day, tail wagging and spirit intact.
Stories like Zane’s remind us why we do what we do — to make sure that no animal has to suffer when love is there, but resources are limited. 💙
