Philadoptables is thrilled to invite you to our 15th Annual Love Potions fundraiser — an evening dedicated to love, community, and saving lives across the Delaware Valley.

This year’s celebration will take place at the beautiful Bistro on Bridge, setting the stage for an unforgettable night in a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with great drinks, fantastic company, and heartfelt purpose. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, Love Potions offers the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow animal lovers while making a real difference.

Of course, no Love Potions event would be complete without our highly anticipated raffle prizes — always one of the most exciting parts of the evening. From unique local donations to special experiences and gifts, there’s something for everyone, and every ticket purchased helps fuel lifesaving programs for the Delaware Valley’s most at-risk animals.

All proceeds from the event directly support homeless, sick, and injured animals across the region by funding medical care, food, emergency services, and essential resources for shelters, rescue groups, and individuals who need it most.

Philadoptables to receive Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s Dogs’ Best Friend Award

For the past 16 years, our Southampton-based nonprofit has worked tirelessly to generate awareness about animal rescue, promote homeless animals, and provide life-saving support for pets and shelters across the Greater Philadelphia region. This recognition is not only an incredible honor — it’s a celebration of our volunteers, supporters, and community who make our mission possible.

💙 About the Award

The Dogs’ Best Friend Award honors individuals or organizations dedicated to improving animal welfare and inspiring compassion for dogs and other pets in our communities. As the 2025 recipient, Philadoptables will receive a $5,000 donation and be recognized on Saturday, November 15 during the National Dog Show ceremonies at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.

At the National Dog Show, you’ll see nearly 2,000 dogs and have thousands of reasons to smile! Meet and learn about all the breeds, watch exciting agility shows, and shop for unique pet supplies — all while celebrating the incredible bond between humans and dogs.

Our Mission

Founded in 2009, Philadoptables is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping at-risk animals through funding, supplies, and community outreach. With the help of our donors and volunteers, we provide:

  • Financial support to shelters for improvements, equipment, and essential care
  • Assistance for low-income pet owners
  • Support for community cat programs through spay/neuter initiatives

Our goal is simple: to keep animals safe, healthy, and homebound.

Save the Date: 2026 Hunks for Hounds Calendar Launch Party

Mark your calendars — both literally and figuratively! The much-anticipated 2026 Hunks for Hounds Calendar is officially dropping, and we’re kicking it off in style with a special launch party on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Bistro on Bridge in Phoenixville, PA.

This year’s calendar is packed with heart-stealing smiles, four-legged friends, and a whole lot of love. Each month features our hand-picked “hunks” alongside adorable pets, celebrating the joy of compassion and the bond between humans and animals. Every pet in the calendar has a rescue story — they’re either beloved adopted companions or adorable animals currently waiting for their forever homes.

Teeing Off for a Great Cause – 7th Annual Philadoptables Golf Outing Recap

On Monday, August 18, 2025, more than 100 golfers came together at the beautiful Cedarbrook Country Club in Blue Bell, PA for the 7th Annual Philadoptables Golf Outing. The weather was cool but still made for a perfect event—a day filled with golf, community, and generosity—all in support of the Greater Philadelphia Region’s most at-risk animals.

From the moment the first golfers checked in at registration, excitement was in the air. Players enjoyed a hearty breakfast before heading out for a 10:15 a.m. shotgun start, ready to hit the greens for a cause that matters. Every swing, putt, and birdie helped fuel our mission of providing critical medical care, food, TNR services, and essential shelter resources to animals in need.

Highlights from the Day

  • 100+ golfers joined us for a fun-filled day of golf.
  • 40+ raffle baskets were generously donated, giving attendees the chance to win exciting prizes while contributing to our fundraising efforts.
  • After a full morning on the course, participants gathered for a delicious lunch at 2:45 p.m., where winners were announced and raffle prizes were claimed.

Fuel your love for coffee and animals—sign up to volunteer today

Philadoptables is thrilled to be at this year’s Philly Coffee Festival—and we need your help to make it a success!

The festival will take place on Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the historic 23rd Street Armory in Philadelphia (22 S 23rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103). Each day will feature incredible local roasters, delicious coffee tastings, and an enthusiastic crowd of caffeine lovers—and Philadoptables will be right there in the action with our merchandise table.

By volunteering with us, you’ll not only help raise funds and awareness for Philly’s homeless animals, but you’ll also get to enjoy the festival with free entry as a thank-you for your time.

Volunteer Shifts

We’re looking for volunteers to cover the following sessions:

  • Saturday, October 25 – Session 1: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Saturday, October 25 – Session 2: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
