Making a Difference: Philadoptables’ 6th Annual Golf Event

What a fabulous day we had at our Philadoptables 6th Annual Charity Golf Outing! On August 19, 2024, at the gorgeous Cedarbrook Country Club, over 90 golfers of all skill levels participated and support animals in need in and around Philadelphia! Beyond the game, participants engaged with community members, sharing a common passion for animal welfare and establishing new friendships.

It was a beautiful sight to watch everyone connect and bond over a shared love for animals. We thank our amazing sponsors, including Tito’s Vodka, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542, Belfor Property Restoration, Cubby’s Canine Castle, and over 20 hole sponsors. And, of course, our volunteers, who were the heart and soul of the event and made sure everything ran smoothly.

We even welcomed some special guests from Furry Tales Animal Rescue. These adorable pups stole the show, reminding us all why we were there in the first place. One lucky golfer even adopted a puppy on the spot, which was a heart-melting moment!

Experience the unforgettable moments all over again with event photography and video, graciously provided by the talented Samantha Renee Media. And guess what?  Over $10,000 was raised at our golf outing to go towards our efforts to help homeless animals in the Greater Philadelphia area.   These funds ensure food, shelter, medical care, and adoption services for these needy animals.

Save the date—next year’s event is scheduled for Monday, August 18, 2025! We’d love you to join us for another day of golf, friendship, and making a difference.

There are sponsorship options for every budget from $100 for a tee box/hole sponsor to $5,000 to be our presenting title sponsor (and plenty of options in between). Philadoptables is hosting our Fourth Annual Charity Golf Outing on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Cedarbrook Country Club in Blue Bell, PA. All proceeds from this event will go toward our efforts to help animals in need in and around Philadelphia. These activities include:

  • Funding emergency surgeries for foster and shelter animals
  • Providing food, medical equipment and other supplies to local rescues and shelter organizations
  • Funding medical care and spay/neuter surgery for community cats (aka stray or feral cats)
  • Assisting pet owners experiencing financial hardship by providing food, supplies and helping pay for
  • medical care (so that they don’t have to surrender their pets)

Philadoptables 3rd Annual Golf Outing

We expect our third outing to be the best yet! The event will again be held at Cedarbrook Country Club in Blue Bell, PA and all funds raised will directly support our work helping homeless animals in and around Philadelphia.

Event Details 

Date: Monday, October 18, 2021 

Location: Cedarbrook Country Club 180 Penllyn Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422 

Timeline: 

  • 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. – Registration and Breakfast 
  • 10:15 a.m. – Shotgun Start 
  • 2:45 p.m. – Lunch 

Cost: 

$200 per golfer or $800 per foursome

Cost includes greens fees, golf cart, hot breakfast, lunch, snacks and beer on the course.  

There will also be contests, awards, raffle prizes and a 50/50.

Registration is open for anyone interested in participating. You can sign up as a single, twosome, threesome or foursome.
