ACCT Philly volunteers & staff work so hard all year round for the shelter babies! This past week has been very hot with another heat wave in Philly! Philadoptables wanted to say thank you to the dedicated volunteers & staff and cheerfully delivered Ice cream, Popsicles & Frozen Treats for them to enjoy! No matter what the weather, volunteers and staff work so hard for the shelter babies that they love! We wanted to say Thank you and couldn’t think of a better way to do it! Philadoptables and Puro-Tec complete construction on a play yard roof for the dogs!
It all started in April 2012 with a request from the shelter director to make a dog play yard for the homeless pups of Philadelphia. From there we built five more but our project has been incomplete this whole time. There were many distractions, setbacks, and much frustration but we are proud to say that the play yard roof at the shelter has been completed!! There is now a roof so that dogs can exercise, play, and relax in any weather. We could not have done this alone, there are countless people to thank. We would like to thank Petco Foundation and our amazing supporters who donated to this project. We also need a give a HUGE thank you to our friends at Puro-Tec LTD for getting this project completed! They went through hours of back and forth with the city to get the correct permits and never gave up! They also donated their general contracting time to oversee this project through to completion. THANK YOU!
Philadoptables is pleased to donate the space to the volunteers and homeless dogs of Philadelphia!

This 2016 Calendar Helps Philadoptables Save Shelter Animals
With each and every calendar purchased you will be helping us provide food, medical instruments, clinic equipment, enrichment supplies, hosting for adoption events, provide support for foster parents, and much, much more!
This annual calendar is one of the major fundraisers that help fund our operations. We have no paid staff members so 100% of all funds raised go directly to support the animals.
There are over 30,000 homeless and unwanted cats and dogs that enter Philadelphia’s animal control shelter each year. Many of these animals have been abused or just abandoned by their former owners. They come into the shelter afraid, hungry and sometimes injured.
$20 each (shipping is free to US addresses)
The proceeds raised from the sale of this calendar goes toward the work Philadoptables does to support The Animal Care and Control Team (ACCT) of Philadelphia.
Philadoptables is a non-profit organization that supports ACCT. We are all volunteers and have no paid members. In fact, from the models to the printing of the calendar- everyone donated their time and resources to this project.
