This event was a blast and thank you so much to Eddie, Buddy, and Keith who brought tears to our eyes!
The venue was beautiful and we appreciate everyone who came out. All proceeds from the evening went Tiny Paws Rescue for pups in need!

“Cats may have 9 lives, but our newest save Doc (formerly Max) has at least 2!
Doc was slated for euthanasia at 10 am this morning at a local shelter because he had some medical needs the very full shelter could not support. However we had other plans and 2 hours (!!) past his expired timestamp we found out this little dude was still around and rea he’s out and one of our volunteers raced down to grab him! He will be seeing our vet in the next few days for a suspected broken leg and will need some diagnostics, at the very minimum and try to find out the source of his pain and limp and the best course of action for him. Welcome to Dog Town Rescue, Doc! Donations can also be sent via Venmo to @dog-town-rescue” – Dog Town Rescue
We were honored to donate towards giving Doc a second chance at life!
From our friends at J & Co Dog Rescue “We would like to give a special thank you to LIFE: lifesaving initiative funding efforts and Philadoptables for their donations to JP’s medical care. Amazing groups always helping our Philly dogs, shelters & rescues. We love you and appreciate you all so much “
This spring City of Elderly Love: Save a Senior Pet launched Let’s Stay Home – a program to help senior pets stay in their loving homes. Philadoptables is proud to support this amazing program with a $5,000 donation! In the past pet owners without medical funding may have had to surrender their pets.
This program provides other options and has already helped several pets!
Recently, a good samaritan found Bella in need of help and TLC. “I know this group is for cats but I really need help, some homeless man was walking around with this dog earlier trying to get $100 for her so I offered him what I had for her because I could already see she was in bad condition, her back paw was bandaged, when I took her home two of her paws were still very matted and the paw that was bandaged was soaked, took the bandage off and her paw is raw flesh and bloody. I don’t have the money to treat her and I’m scared to take her to the shelter because of her medical issues, is there any rescues I can reach out to that might be willing to help me?”
Bella was able to get an appointment at Philadelphia Animal Hospital and turned out to be the sweetest dog! Estimated to be 4-5 years old, Bella had her wound cleaned, got vaccinations, pain medication, and antibiotic shots. We were honored to cover her entire medical bill to ensure she is happy and healthy!
