A Great Day for a Great Cause: 2027 Hunks for Hounds Calendar Release Party Recap

The 2027 Philadoptables Hunks for Hounds Calendar is officially here!

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, friends, supporters, volunteers, calendar participants, and fellow animal lovers joined us at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown, PA to celebrate the release of this year’s calendar.

After months of planning, photo shoots, designing, editing, and bringing all of the pieces together, it was incredibly exciting to finally share the finished calendar with everyone.

Celebrating the 2027 Hunks for Hounds Calendar

The annual Hunks for Hounds Calendar has always been about having a little fun while bringing attention to an important cause: helping animals in need throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.

This year’s calendar once again brings together animal-loving hunks and some pretty adorable four-legged companions, with a different photo and story featured each month.

The release party gave everyone a chance to celebrate the people, pets, photographers, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the 2027 edition possible.

Seeing everyone together — and finally getting the calendars into people’s hands — was the perfect way to wrap up months of work behind the scenes.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us at Rose Bank Winery and helped make the afternoon such a success.

We also want to thank all of the models, animal participants, photographers, volunteers, supporters, and everyone else who contributed their time and talents to this year’s calendar.

Projects like Hunks for Hounds truly take a community, and we couldn’t do it without all of you.

And, of course, a special thank-you goes to everyone who purchased a calendar, donated, shared the event, or helped spread the word.

A Morning of Smiles, Gratitude, and Wagging Tails on Positively Philly

Today was a truly special day for the Philadoptables family as we had the honor of appearing on Positively Philly to share our mission, our work, and the incredible animals we’re so lucky to support.

Our president, Michelle, summed it up perfectly after the show — the two hosts were so warm and wonderful. They were genuine, kind, and it was clear how much they truly love animals. From the moment we walked onto the set, we felt welcomed, supported, and inspired by the positivity in the room.

We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to highlight the work we do in the community and to introduce viewers to some of the amazing dogs who are still waiting for their forever homes. Days like today remind us why we do what we do — because every animal deserves a chance, and every adoption creates a new beginning.

To everyone who tuned in, supported us, shared our story, or continues to believe in our mission — thank you. Your compassion fuels everything we do.

And if there’s one message we hope sticks with people after today, it’s this:
Adoption is always better than buying. When you adopt, you don’t just bring home a pet — you save a life, open space for another animal in need, and become part of a much bigger story of hope.

From all of us at Philadoptables, thank you for being part of that story. 🐾💙
