Serena greets every dog with respect, adapts to a variety of play styles, and even helps keep the peace with her well-timed canine manners.

Whether she’s romping around with her dog pals or soaking up affection from her humans, Serena is all about love, laughter, and leash-free fun. Her ideal home? One that celebrates her playful spirit and gives her plenty of time to enjoy the companionship she adores—both canine and human.

Meet Domino – Our Dog of the Week!

Every dog has a story, and Domino’s is one of resilience and hope.

Late one cold November night, Domino was found tied up and abandoned by local police. She was brought to a municipal shelter as a stray, waiting quietly and patiently for someone to notice her. When we learned about Domino, we knew we couldn’t let her spirit fade away. We welcomed her into our rescue – and she has blossomed ever since!

Today, Domino is thriving in her foster home and is ready to find her forever family. She’s about a year and a half old, house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps soundly through the night – what a polite girl! 💤

Domino’s sweet personality shines through every day. She adores playing fetch, tug-of-war, and spending time with other dogs and children. While she can be a bit unsure in new environments and feels anxious around busy roads (understandable given her past), she has made incredible progress in her foster home, gaining confidence and learning to trust.

Now, Domino is looking for a patient, caring family to call her own – a family that will give her the love and security she deserves for the rest of her days.

Meet Our Dog of the Week… CHASE!

This handsome 2-year-old black Lab mix was rescued from a Philly shelter just in time—and he’s ready to steal your heart! 💘

🎾 Chase is all about fun—he loves chasing balls, carrying sticks, and dominating a good game of tug-of-war. With his playful spirit and boundless energy, he’d thrive with a work-from-home adopter or an active family that can keep up with his enthusiasm.

✅ Crate trained
✅ 100% potty trained (no accidents!)
✅ Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated
✅ Knows sit, paw, down, and high five
✅ Great with other dogs!

🐱 He’s shown curiosity toward a cat but hasn’t had direct interaction yet.
👧 Because he’s still learning his strength, we recommend supervision around young kids during playtime.

Peace has been thriving in his foster home ever since he beat his timestamp at the Philly City Shelter. This charming pooch has overcome his past and is now enjoying a life filled with love and care. His journey from shelter to foster has been nothing short of inspirational, and he’s ready to steal your heart next!

A Personality to Fall For

What makes Peace truly special is not just his good looks, but his delightful personality. Whether it’s a gentle noggin or a belly rub, he’s all in. You can often find him sitting quietly at your feet, soaking up every bit of love you have to give. And if you think his playfulness ends there, think again—Peace adores a lively game of fetch. Yet, after all the fun, he’s just as enthusiastic about curling up for a snooze, complete with the cutest snore that’s sure to bring a smile to your face.

Peace is currently sharing his foster home with a good male dog friend, but he’s equally happy being your one and only companion. He would do best in a home with older kids or in an adult-only household, where his boundless energy and playful nature can truly shine. While Peace might not fully grasp the extent of his own strength (and might “come in like a wrecking ball” at times), his lovable spirit makes every moment a joyful adventure—even if his big head sometimes seems more empty than you’d expect! 😆
