Shelter Cleanup at ACCT Philly: Volunteers Needed: Saturday, November 25th

Looking for volunteer opportunities? On Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. for approximately 3-4 hours, please join us at ACCT Philly for a shelter clean up day!

Ages 10+ welcome! Some of the tasks we have for the day are:

  • Trash pickup
  • Weed whack weeds and overgrown areas (weed-whacker needed)
  • Stack pallets
  • Clean up kitty barn area out back
  • Install fence slats in the isolation yard
  • Shovel pea gravel into isolation yard (shovel needed)
  • Build 2 benches (tools needed)
  • Build 2 pergolas (tools needed)
  • Mulching the areas outside of intake and adoptions
  • Repair broken dog beds/ build new beds- tools needed
  • Make Adoption folders -inside, administrative activity (two people – a sit down job)
  • Washing pet dishes and Kongs
  • Making dog treats
  • Doing laundry
  • Cleaning, organizing, etc.!

5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Date: Monday, July 31, 2023

Location: Cedarbrook Country Club, 180 Penllyn Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422

Timeline:

  • 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. – Registration and Breakfast
  • 10:15 a.m. – Shotgun Start
  • 2:45 p.m. – Lunch

Philadoptables is hosting our 5th Annual Charity Golf Outing at Cedarbrook Country Club in Blue Bell, PA. We are seeking businesses that would like to show their support for animal rescue by sponsoring our 2022 golf outing. There are sponsorship options for every budget from $100 for a tee box/hole sponsor to $5,000 to be our presenting title sponsor (and plenty of options in between). Many of the sponsorship options include spot(s) to golf in the outing!

Pet Food Pantry With Our Friends From The Life Foundation

Full bellies are happy pet parents is what we and our friends at the Life Foundation aim for!

Thanks to our generous supporters we were able to drop off thousands of pounds of pet food today to help the community members in need! To the volunteers, organizations, donors, and community members who hosted food drives, thank you for making the pet food pantry a success and for your dedication to the animals in our community.
