Snoopy needed our help!
This is Snoopy, he was adopted from ACCT in December. He was a volunteer favorite and loves everyone. He got off his leash yesterday and was shot 3 times in the neck by a neighbor! He was transferred to Penn Vet and hopefully can recover from his injuries. We jumped in to help with his extensive medical costs. Best wishes, Snoopy <3
Milo
Milo was found outside in pretty rough shape by a colony care taker. It appeared he had been hit by a car. A plea went out and PALS, an amazing rescue, stepped up and with our donation and the donations of many wonderful people, Milo got the surgery he needed and is on the road to recovery!
Support for Hillside SPCA
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, understandably shelters have been limiting their hours, changing intake policies, etc. On March 31st Hillside SPCA in Pottsville , PA put out an urgent plea for help:
“We’re the only shelter currently open, so we’re getting all the calls for the cruelty cases. We’re getting all of the drop-offs for the strays. Our numbers are rising; our donations are down. We are getting back-ordered on litter and wet food. We’re in a crisis right now with everything hitting at once,” said Donna Boyd, a member of Hillside SPCA’s board of directors.
We reached out with a donation of $250 to their general fund. You can find out more about them at hillsidespca.com.
Wishing Scrabble a speedy recovery!
Philadoptables recently donated $100 to Catadelphia toward Scrabble’s care! Scrabble is a community cat from Germantown with an injured leg. Turns out, after a vet exam, she needed her leg amputated.
