Sweet Turnip arrived as a stray at ACCT, after being found roaming alone with a large infected mass on her back end. She was rushed to the exam room and because of her critical condition, she was eligible for early release from her stray hold.
When our friends at Tiny Paws Rescue stepped up to save her, we happily donated $300 towards her medical care. Thanks to TPR, Turnip has a second chance at life…and love!
Our friends at Kodi’s Club sprung into quick action to save dog that was found suffering from heat stroke.
“A Rottie was just found laying in lateral recumbency at a city park and having a heat stroke. ACO was called. He’s in bad shape. Temp was 106, now just under 107. Finding an ER was not easy. Mt Laurel thankfully is taking him. Pray he makes it. They’re calling him Rocco. Danielle is racing him there now.

After a few days of round-the-clock care, Rocco finally stood up! He has been transferred to a veterinary hospital close to Kodi’s Club volunteers for additional love and care.
Kodi’s Club saved Rocco and we are proud to donate towards his lifesaving care. Our paws are crossed that Rocco feels better soon!

Our friends at Side Paws were recently contacted about a senior dog in critical need. We just had to help by donating toward his medical care!

Last week, Phoenix Animal Rescue needed immediate support when their air conditioner stopped working. Being 20+ years old, the only option was to replace the unit and quickly.
With over 70 dogs in their care and endless veterinary bills, replacing the unit immediately was not in the budget.
PAR reached out to their social media followers and McCaffery Mechanical for dire help. Within 24 hours, Bill from McCaffery Mechanical provided the repairs at a discounted rate, and both units were fully replaced! Philadoptables is proud to support PAR and donated $500 towards the repairs! Thanks to McCaffery Mechanical and everyone that donated, the kennel is once again cool. The new systems will cut down on heating and cooling costs, future repairs, and will make a world of a difference to PAR.
